OK, so you have decided to try a work from home program.....well whether its has been forced on you ,or you decided to for what ever reason, there are some challenges you are going to have to face and overcome for this to prove successful.
Discipline: You have to be able to resist the urge to go watch your daily soap operas.
What i did was i removed the TV completely from my work space,and the love affair with my TV guide was put on hold. If you have kids at home, you got to make it clear to them that even though you are physically at home, you are indisposed for that period of time as if you were working out somewhere.
Time allotment: You got to establish a minimum time period that you gonna spend at your job...6 hours..8hours... or whatever it is you will need to put in to meet your goal , then you got to assign your lunch period , and make sure you stick to it. Don't be making those frequent trips to the kitchen because its right there,act as if you are in your cubicle with a nervous supervisor watching your every move.
Research:Make sure you exercise due diligence in your quest to find the right thing to do at home.If you are working online employ all the necessary precautions to ascertain the credibility of the entity you are working with. If its some other venture..lets say you are going into candle making, make sure you prepare yourself adequately ,check out your market,keep up with all the latest developments in the field ,and endeavor to produce quality product ,it might take more time,but it will prove to be what makes or breaks you in this undertaking.
Basically your work from home journey if approached correctly can develop into something substantial,so handle it with the professionalism it demands, and..... just do it.
